“Didn't stay here but visited for lunch. The food was great, albeit expensive, but one much expect this in the middle of Australia. Service excellent also. We appreciated this, so thanks to those staff at Walpa who went the extra mile. Will definitely will go back before we call our oddessy to middle Australia a day.”

“Had such a fab stay! Wanted to give a shout out to Ni Putu on reception who was so helpful and explained all the bits to us. Rooms were large and clean with a comfy bed. Food at the restaurant was by far the freshest and tastiest around (we had the barra and ribs by the pool which was generous in proportion and the salmon and blt inside). Coffee - excellent, and we’re from Melbourne. The in-house desserts were special and we were told there’s a pastry chef onsite. Would love: a coffee machine and a couple of bowls and spoons for quick breakky on those early starts and to keep the costs down a little. It would be cool if the buffet breakky went until midday. Would love to know more about how the resort supports the local community and environment and how we can contribute positively as tourists. Cheers to a great stay!”

“We came in with Outback Spirit so check in easy. Loved the free laundry - only 2 machines but great. Room is a great size 2 luggage racks were a bonus! Bathroom great. If room service includes bed making- then a bit more practice is required,but clean towels lovely. The major number one negative is the restaurant service specifically drinks &coffee service. Waited for a good 20+ min for our drinks -with drinks being lost &or forgotten, then breakfast? nearly 30min wait for coffee which I had to go to service area to ask for wait staff everywhere,but only one person as barrister &slow for a morning crowd . The buffet breakfast &dinner was wonderful.”

“We arrived on 30th April 2026 for 3 nights, initially all went well, staff courteous and respectful. The pool was not heated and cold. The dinner buffet had everything you would expect for the high price. The outside cafe had limited menu. Great location was close to the shops and town centre. The room was serviced well daily. Room service didn't collect dishes when called (77) so ants were an issue like many places. On last night toilet stopped working, if we needed it we had to walk a distance into the hotel. (We didn't complain, advised on check out. For a 5 star resort (?) rooms should have been better. We did get a discounted deal but would have expected a refund for the inconvenience. The tours were enjoyable, On-Off bus travel was free. Check out was 3rd May 2026. All -in -all an enjoyable experience at Uluru.”

It’s disappointing that for $700 a night there isn’t a coffee machine in the room, nor USB charging or a smart tv. Being able to stream a tv series after a long day exploring would be ideal and really is expected at a 5 star hotel.”
